Lot Description

A re-cased yellow metal key wind pair case pocket watch by Thomas Mudge, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numeral markers, the later outer repoussé case, its scene depicting Hope, Time and a putto with a lamb, the non-original inner case, hallmarked London 1822, testing as 22ct, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, numbered 323, square baluster pillars, pierced balance cock, diamond end stone. Outer case diameter 50mm. Total weight 109gms.
