Lot Description

A cultured pearl three-row necklace with an 18ct gold, diamond set clasp, the three rows of sixty-six, sixty-four and sixty-three cultured pearls measuring approximately 4mm, to the oval 18ct gold clasp, pave-set with brilliant cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 0.52cts. Import marks for Birmingham, 1988. Length of necklace 36.5cms. Length of clasp 2cms.

Condition Report

Overall good condition, the clasp is in working order and has a safety figure of eight clip also. The cultured pearls have a white hue with pinky, purple and green overtones. The diamonds are fairly bright for their size and settings, some are drawing colour. The cultured pearls show natural surface blemishes and the clasp just has some minor surface scratches.
