Lot Description
A late Victorian silver basket, the circular body with oblique fluting interspaced with embossing beading and acanthus scrolls, pierced scroll details to the flared rim and raised on three bracket feet conforming in decoration. Hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1897. Maximum diameter measuring 10 1/4 inches (26 cm), weight 16.5 ozt (514 grams).
