Condition Report
The coffee pot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous deeper scratches and minor nicks throughout. There are also several surface dints and bumps to the bulbous part of the main body, on both sides. This is heavier on one side, possibly indicating removal of engraving or armorial? Some loss of surface detail and definition to the decoration in some areas. Hinged cover appears in working order. General wear to the wood handle and likely repair of a small section at the base of the handle. The hallmarks to the underside and the Lion Passant to the lid are all clear and legible.
