Lot Description

A George III silver twin handled cup with later floral and scroll embossed surround to the engraved cartouche, the twin handles with heart shaped terminals and raised on a circular footed base. Hallmarked London 1780, maker's mark possibly IS. Height measuring 5 7/8 inches (15 cm), weight 11.5 ozt (358 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Hallmarks a little worn particularly the first letter of the maker's mark. The cup wobbles slightly.
