Lot 51

Lot Description

An Art Nouveau small silver basket mount, glass liner deficient, hallmarked Henry Williamson Ltd, Birmingham 1907, height measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.5 cm). Together with a table spoon, pseudo or provincial marks present of a lion passant stamped twice, possible leopards head and a further mark 'R.?'. (2).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both items display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with their age and use.  The basket displays some quite heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish.  There are also some dint and bumps.  The hallmarks are clear and legible.  The table spoon is in fairly poor condition, the bowl is quite pitted and dimpled and the striking edge is very worn down.  The marks are partly distorted.
