Lot Description

A late Victorian silver toast rack of oval form standing on four ball feet to the graduated dividers and loop handle, hallmarked Birmingham 1897, length measuring 4 inches (10 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver toast rack, hallmarked Birmingham 1906. Gross weight 4.5 ozt (143 grams). (2).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One join of the dividers has split to the Edwardian example. The hallmarks a little worn but legible, maker's mark to the Victorian example is partly illegible and reads C.H to the Edwardian example.
