Lot Description

A George IV silver mustard pot of oval form with gadrooned border, blue glass liner and standing on four ball feet. Hallmarked London 1820, maker's mark I.B. Height measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm), silver weight 3.3 ozt (103 grams).

The mustard pot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Several dints to the main body, some of them fairly large.  On one side, the metal surface is quite creased and dimpled.  The hinged lid is in working order although it appears quite loose.  The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.  Rim chips to the glass liner.
