FALKNER - an early 20th century Swedish hand painted portrait miniature on ivory, depicting Fritz Clausen, within a Danish silver mount. Portrait signed Fanny Falkner. Painted in 1939. Mount stamped F Hingelberg. Length 8.2cms. Weight 39.1gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Glass cover deficient. Significant wear to the gilt finish. The back of the case has been pushed in and may damage the portrait if tried to rectify. Case stamped 925. Possible minor paint loss. General dirt to portrait. Edges of portrait not visible, possible minor damage to edge.
