A Georgian silver meat skewer of plain form, with initialled loop terminal. Hallmarks partly obscured, maker's mark probably for John Harvey I. Length 11 1/4 inches (28.5 cm), weight 3.43 ozt (106.7 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. The hallmarks are heavily rubbed, with both the date letter and assay mark obscured. Initial engraving partially rubbed.
