Lot Description

A 1930's novelty silver money box modelled as a post box, the cylindrical body with personal name and date engraving. Hallmarked Docker & Burn Ltd, Birmingham 1930. Height measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Numerous small dints and bumps. Wooden base present. Heart shaped lock is probably non-original and a later addition. Hallmarks very worn, and almost completely worn to the main body.
