A Sampson Mordan yellow metal propelling pencil with slide action, the slim case with engine turned decoration and foliate mounted seal top style terminal. Impressed mark 'S. Mordan & Co.' Length when extended measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm).

Condition Report

The overall condition of the pencil appears fairly good, displaying general surface scratches, marks and wear. The decoration still appears fairly crisp and bright. The slide action appears in working order. The maker's mark is located towards the top of the pencil, however the propelled section is further marked with the letter 'M'.
