The item displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Heavy tarnishing is visible to the metal mounts and they would benefit from a clean and polish.  There are various surface dints, bumps and creases to the metal.   There is damage to the underside as the base is hanging off and the filling is visible.  The outer material lining is also very worn, faded and torn.  Hallmarks are partly obscured.
