Lot Description

A Victorian silver posy holder, the tapered floral open work form, with chain and finger ring above a hinged tripod base, missing pin. Hallmarked Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1843. Maximum height measuring 12 cm.

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Missing pin across the vase to hold flowers in place. A number of cracks and repairs to the open work vase segment. Above the hinged tripod feet the lobed section appears quite bent, the vase also sitting a little off centre. Hallmarks to the upper body only are clear and legible.
