The teapot appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some surface dints and bumps.  Heavier scratches, nicks and marks visible to some areas, especially along edges.  Some rubbing and slight loss to decoration but it is generally still good.  Hinged lid in working order although it rises slightly in the closed position.  There is a gap between the joins at the top of the silver handle and some filling is visible.  The hallmarks, which are located to the underside, are clear and legible.  The monarch's head is also struck to the lid and grip section of the handle.
