Lot Description

An Edwardian silver sauce boat of classic form with frilled rim to the high arch leaf capped scrolling handle and raised above three lion mask mounted paw feet. Hallmarked D & M Davis (David & Maurice Davis), Chester 1904. Maximum height measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 5.4 ozt (169 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit form a clean and polish. No personal engravings. Some Heavier scratches from use to the interior. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark a little worn to the edges.
