Lot Description

A selection of Scottish and agate jewellery, to include a late 19th century oval-shape agate brooch, with scroll border, an agate quatrefoil pendant and a ptarmigan claw and paste brooch. (7) Lengths 8 to 3cms.

Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. The first with wear to the gilt surface, replacement pin, agate in fair condition with a fracture running the width, alongside other fractures and nicks. One agate brooch with significant surface wear. Pendant with light indentations to the reverse. Stag brooch slightly discoloured, stamped Ster Sil. Oval-shape agate brooch with some tarnishing to the reverse, stamped Silver. Agates generally in good condition with minor abrasion and some nibbles.
