Lot Description
A mid Victorian, black lined beaded and embellished, netted capelet with a hook and eye fastening, long sleeves and tassels, together with a 1970s black Rogire long sleeve, full-length, lined evening dress, with silver and gold coloured disc cluster detail and jewel detail to the neck. Dress labelled Made in London. Believed to be sizes small and 16.

Condition Report
The Victorian caplet exterior condition is fair to good with the odd bead missing, the interior condition is fair due to lining nature is snagged and has some small holes due to wear and age.
The overall condition of the dress is fair to good, with a hole on the left hand hem of sleeve were it is attached to the bodice and the hem stitch work has come away from the zip, and the odd stray stitch loose from hem line. The lining is in good condition no visible marks or pulls from wear and tear. Approximate measurement of the length of the dress from shoulder to floor is 153cm/60 inches, waist approximate measurement is 41 cms/ 16 inches.
