Lot Description

A pair of late 19th century garnet ear pendants. Each designed as a circular-shape garnet, within a cannetille scrolling panel, suspended from a hemispherical surmount. Pendant terminals deficient. Length 3.8cms. Weight 2.9gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and light discolouration in keeping with age. Light indentations to the reverse of one. Suspension loops to the bases, pendant components deficient. Garnets fairly well matched, differ slightly in shape, purplish-pink with moderate to dark colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.
