Lot Description

A pair of late Victorian gold enamel and split pearl ear pendants, circa 1880. Each designed as a graduated tassel, suspended from a split pearl and dark blue enamel star accent oval-shape cannetille panel, to the scrolling surmount. Length 7.1cms. Weight 7.5gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Hook fittings for pierced ears. Hook fittings possibly replacements, very slightly bent. Length stated includes hook fittings, length excluding fittings 6.3cms. Minor small, shallow dents to reverse of panels. Varying discolouration. Small enamel loss to one of the stars. Split pearls moderately well matched.
