Lot Description

A good mid 19th century French ormolu, gilt brass, enamel and porcelain-mounted mantel clock. Japy Freres & Cie, Paris. The 3-inch blue enamel dial with cellular Roman chapters, with Breguet hands, the two-train bell-striking movement with exhibition stamp, the case surmounted by a seated maiden with pannier of flowers over a pair of Sevres-style oval porcelain figure panels, 14.5" (37cm) high.
