An early 20th century gold opal and diamond stickpin, the oval opal cabochon, suspended from an old-cut diamond surmount. Length 5.9cms. Weight 1.2gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Pin replacement. Estimated diamond weight 0.05ct, the diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The diamond appears heavily tinted, numerous inclusions. The opal displays good play of colour, predominantly blues and greens. Minor abrasion.
