A selection of five items of marcasite and paste jewellery.

Lot Description
A selection of marcasite and paste jewellery, to include a mid 20th century marcasite foliate necklace, a silver cultured pearl and marcasite scroll brooch, together with a marcasite bracelet and two paste necklaces. Second with import marks for London, 1963. Lengths of necklaces 38.5 to 46cms. Total weight 100.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. Some marcasites deficient. Yellowing to some of the pastes, some significant. Repair to the clasp terminals to one of the paste necklaces, clasp no longer functions. Soft solder and significant surface wear to one end. Replacement suspension loops to the terminals of the other necklace. Some green staining. Pastes in fair to good condition, some with minor abrasion, some with nicks and chips. Cultured pearl creamy colour, rose and greenish overtones. Fairly good skin with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. First stamped silver, clasp stamped sterling. Second with import marks for London. Weight of marked items 25.6gms.
