Lot Description
A selection of sewing items, to include an early 20th century 18ct gold thimble, a gold-handled pair of scissors, a silver gilt thread winder and pointer, together with a tortoiseshell needle case and vesta. Three with Austrian and French assay marks. Weight of thimble 4.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Thimble is slightly squashed, ripple to metal on inside of thimble. Thimble engraved "J.T.F.G,d,S". Splits and small losses to both tortoiseshell items. Ivory linings. Total weight of scissors 8.6gms. Metal components show rust.
