Lot Description

An open face pocket watch by H.White. Hallmarked Birmingham 1894. Signed key wind full plate going barrel movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Silver case. 53mm.

<li>Movement has signs of previous intervention, balance appears intact, lots of play in fourth wheel.

<li>Dial has marks, chips and signs of repair around and to the subsidiary seconds dial, hairline crack from six to centre.

<li>Hands show signs of tarnishing, minute and hour appear mismatched, light rust to seconds.

<li>Glass has a variety of scratches, some dints to the edges.

<li>Case has light/medium scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear, very polished, discolouration noticeable in places.

<li>Pendant bow loose.<p>
