Lot Description

An open face pocket watch. Hallmarked Chester 1898. Unsigned key wind full plate going barrel movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Silver case. 52mm.

<li>Movement shows signs of previous intervention, some discolouration to plates.

<li>Dial has some chips to the edge, hairline crack to six.

<li>Hands show tarnishing, minute and seconds hands are deformed.

<li>Glass is missing.

<li>Case has medium scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear, some nicks and deeper marks to the bezel, middle and case back around the case opening aperture.<p>
