A George II silver sauce boat, the small oval form chased with intertwining shells and flowers amidst scrolls, with foliate capped flying scroll handle and raised on three hoof feet. Hallmarked George Greenhill Jones, London 1739. Height including handle 3 1/4 inches (8 cm), weight 3.9 ozt (122 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There is some rubbing with loss of detail and definition. Crack to the silver edge at the join of the handle. One of the feet does not sit flat. Hallmarks partially rubbed but legible.
