A George II silver cream jug of baluster form with sparrow beak, scrolling initialled handle and standing on a spreading circular foot. Hallmarked Ralph Maidman, London 1733. Height measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm), weight 2.6 ozt (83 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Numerous minor dents, particularly located to the foot. A few deeper scratches and some pitting. No personal engraving to the body. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
