The case displays some general surface scratches, marks, wear and light tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Several heavier scratches are visible, also some minor surface dints/nicks.  Slight loss of surface definition to applied motif.  Hinges and clasp appear in working order.  The hallmarks appear a little rubbed in places but are still legible.
