Lot Description

An Edwardian silver circular box, the hinged lid set with nephrite jade, hallmarked William Henry Leather, Birmingham 1908. Together with an Edwardian silver snuff box with scroll engraved lid and central monogram, hallmarked Samuel M Levi, Birmingham 1905 and a late Victorian silver cigarette case, hallmarked Birmingham 1898. Gross weight 3.7 ozt (116 grams). (3).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The snuff box and cigarette case appear more heavily worn with shallow dents, the decoration to the snuff box has worn with loss of definition, the seam has split to the body and the gilding to the interior heavily deteriorated.
