Lot Description
An Edwardian silver ring or trinket box modelled as a scuttle, the hinged lid embossed with five cherubs, hallmarked Sheffield 1904, maximum height measuring 3.7 cm. Together with a further Edwardian silver ring box of oblong form and similarly decorated, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1908, length measuring 10.7 cm and a late Victorian silver mounted heart shaped vanity pot, hallmarked Birmingham 1899. Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dents and bumps. Deterioration to the material linings. Minor chips to glass. Hallmarks a little worn, particularly the maker's mark on the scuttle but probably Walker & Hall.
