A George III silver open salt, modelled and cast as a woven basket with compartmentalised silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked Walter Brind, London 1763. Length measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 5.9 ozt (185 grams).

Gilding bright. Casting holes to the underside. The hallmarks a little rubbed, part of the maker's mark in particular worn away.
