Lot Description

A pair of Edwardian silver candlesticks, the loaded square and fluted bases rising to the baluster stem, the shoulder stem and detachable nozzle conforming in decoration. Hallmarked Fordham & Faulkner (William Charles Fordham & Albert Faulkner), Sheffield 1906. Height measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm).

Condition Report

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

There is some rubbing or over polishing. Minor dints and bumps. Small patch or solder flooding to both on the base, probably to remove a crest. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
