Lot Description

A rare late 18th century English porcelain 'stag hunt' pattern part tea set, each piece painted in the Worcester manner with stylised chinoiserie polychrome landscapes, within gilt cloud borders, comprising: oval teapot, cover and oval stand, oval sucrier cover (only), saucer dish, 8" (20cm) diameter, eight tea bowls and five saucers (17 inc. covers). Teapot finial (loop) missing. Gilt rubbing to cover and to rim of body. Faint hairline to lower body. Dark crack through handle. Faint hairline to stand. Crack and star crack to saucer dish.

Teacups - 2 in very good condition, 1 with faint short hairline, others with more damage.

Saucers- 1 in very good condition, 1 rim rubbed but otherwise in very good condition, others cracked.
