A rare Chinese enamel on copper dish, Qianlong/Jiaqing, of canted oblong form with wavy rim, the oval field painted with a sailing boat or junk on a meandering river, watched by figures beside a stately building, within floral panels reserved on a duck egg blue ground with gilt foliate scrollwork, the reserve with 'pebble' effect, and floral sprays, 16.5" x 12.5" x 2.25" high, (42cm x 32cm x 5.5cm).
