Lot Description

A pair of 19th century French gilt bronze (ormolu) figures, each modelled in mirror image as the young Bacchus or a follower, with vine hair ornament, wearing sash and mantle, seated upon a tree stump, with bead-edged re-entrant square plinths, conforming white marble bases inset with guilloche frieze and toupie feet, 9.5" (24cm) high. (2).
