A good 19th century rosewood veneered writing slope or lap desk, the rectangular box with brass military style carry handles and inlay, the top with 'pop up' action storage drawers above a fold over writing surface, fitted with twin original brass topped glass inkwells, 19.75" x 12.25" x 8" (50cm x 31cm x 20cm).
