A late 19th century gold carved ivory brooch, of oval-shape outline, the ivory panel, carved to depict an Oriental scene, featuring a selection of figures amongst a tree and buildings, within a decorative engraved surround. Length 4.7cms. Weight 13gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Replacement base metal pin. Scratches and patches of acid staining to the reverse of the surround. Area of discolouration to the pin. Glue residue to edges of the ivory panel. Ivory in fair to good condition with some yellowing and a minimal chip to a small section at one edge, not particularly noticeable.
