A late 19th century rectangular tortoiseshell case, the front designed as an initial monogram with foliate border, opening to reveal two inner purple silk compartments. AF. Chip to tortoiseshell. Length 14cms.

Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Large chips to tortoiseshell back panel. Surface wear to metal clasp and frame. Silk stained and discoloured, in keeping with age. Light scratches and scuffs to surface, in keeping with age.
