Lot Description

A mid 20th century platinum diamond three-stone ring. The graduated circular-cut diamonds, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.45ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 2.2gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age. Evidence of resizing. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Principal diamond with scattered inclusions easily visible under magnification, good condition with minor abrasion. One side diamond with a large surface reaching fracture extending from the side of the table to the girdle. The other side diamond with scattered light and dark coloured inclusions. Side diamonds in fair to good condition with a few nicks. Ring size F3/4. Stamped Plat.
