Lot Description

TUDOR - a gentleman's wrist watch. Hallmarked Birmingham possibly 1957. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers. 9ct gold Dennison case fitted to a non-original black lizard strap with gold plated pin buckle. 30mm.

<li> The wind movement is currently functioning.

<li> Movement appears show light tarnishing and scratches, consistent with general use.

<li> Dial seems to show very light scratches to the Arabic numerals, visible under a 10x loupe, otherwise it is in good condition.

<li> Hands appear to be tarnished and show signs of discolouration and the early stages of rusting. Small scratches and pitting are also present on the centre.

<li> Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic and has several small and very light scratches.

<li> Case appears to have medium chips and pitting.

<li> Crown seems to bear light scratches and pitting.

<li> Bezel seems to have light pitting and scratches, the majority of which should polish out. Tarnishing and light discolouration are also located around the edge.

<li> Case back currently shows sever dents to the edge, consistent with the back being removed. Multiple light scratches are also present, the majority of which should polish out.

<li> Strap appears to be in good condition.

<li> Buckle appears to be in good condition.
