Lot Description

An open face pocket watch by Waltham. Hallmarked Birmingham 1925. Numbered 314685. Signed keyless wind seventeen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. White dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary sunken seconds dial to six. 9ct yellow gold case. 49mm. 90gms.

A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, scratches and marks to the movement, may require a service, marks and debris to the dial, light scratches, hands are marked with areas of discolouration, glass has a few medium scratches, some may polish out with difficulty, deeper marks may remain, case has medium scratches and scuffs, tiny dints, areas of pitting, tiny dent to the case back, noticeable score marks in an area on the edge of the case, possibly caused on previous attempts to open the case, crown is discoloured and showing signs of rubbing.
