Lot Description

A selection of three gem-set items. To include two mid to late 19th century gold foil-back gem-set pendants, one with an amethyst and one with a citrine, together with a later chalcedony fob, engraved to depict a bee. Lengths 2.2 to 1.1cms. Total weight 7.8gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Each of the pendants shows evidence of alteration. Lengths exclude surmounts and suspension loops. The citrine and the amethyst shows slight deterioration to the foil backing, possibly re-coloured.
