A modern American part canteen by Reed & Barton for six place settings, in English Chippendale pattern and comprising six each of teaspoons, table knives and forks, dessert spoons and pastry forks, also including two table spoons, a pair of salad servers, a sauce ladle, a preserve spoon, a cake slice, five fruit knives and a butter knife, some with steel blades and filled handles. All marked with maker's mark 'Reed & Barton Sterling'. Weight not including knives or cake slice 50.28 ozt (1563.8 grams). (43).

Condition Report
The canteen appears in fairly good overall condition, all the pieces displaying some general wear including surface scratching, marks and light tarnishing. Heavier wear and marks around some rims and edges but overall the spoon bowls and fork tines have generally faired quite well.
