Lot Description

An Edwardian cased silver butter knife and preserve spoon, with floral engraved decoration and initialled terminal and case, hallmarked Robert Pringle, Sheffield 1902. Together with a set of four modern teaspoons, one of each marked at the four British assay offices, hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd, 1977. Gross weight 3.87 ozt (120.6 grams). (2).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Cake and jam set with slight black spotting. Monogrammed MEN, the case similarly embossed to the lid 'M.E.N. Jan'y 28th 1908'.
