A George III silver meat skewer, the classic form with loop handle and crest engraving. Hallmarked William Eley, William Fearn & William Chawner, London 1811. Length measuring 11 inches (28 cm), weight 2.4 ozt (76.2 grams).

Condition Report

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. Heavy dints, scratches to the tip of the skewer. Crest and motto worn. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
