Lot Description

A cased set of early twentieth century silver mounted fruit knives and forks for six place settings, each with fluted ferule and pistol grip mother of pearl handles. Hallmarked Francis Howard Ltd., Sheffield 1910. Length of case measuring 11 inches (28 cm).

In very good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Scratches also to the MOP handles. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The case displays a little more wear, the surface completely worn away ion areas with the core wood visible, the wood has also split in a number of places.
