Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver mount for a travelling communion set comprising the bayonet cover with detachable lid revealing the silver-gilt pyx box, hallmarked F A Barrett, Birmingham 1919, height measuring 3 inches (7 cm). Together with a silver mount for a vanity bottle, a small silver cigarette case and three silver napkin rings. Gross weight 7.4 ozt (231 grams). (6).

Varied state. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette case in particular in poor condition, split and heavily dented. One napkin ring misshapen. One napkin ring with initial engraving. Hallmarks in varied state but overall legible.
