A mid-Victorian silver snuff box, of scalloped oval form, with scrolling foliate engraving and vacant cartouche, to the scrolling foliate grip. Hallmarked David Pettifer, Birmingham 1853. Length 4 inches (10.2 cm), weight 3.98 ozt (123.7 grams).
