Both spoons display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Residues of polish to the Victorian spoon and some loss of surface detail to the reverse heel. Slight knock and the edge of the tip of the bowl is worn or ground down slightly. Some deep scratches visible to the vacant cartouche of the terminal. Over struck maker's mark on this spoon, possibly 'T.E'. The hallmarks to both spoons are clear and legible.
